“We decided last minute to go to Dahlonega just for one night. We decided on The Smith House because it was in town and we could walk wherever we wanted to go. The room was a king room in the lodge but did not have a balcony like the ones in front. We had a small window that faced the parking garage. The parking was ok. “Nice place, convenient to the square but the TV was steaming and it kept freezing up. The desk person did not know what to do and there was not TV instructions in the room and she didn’t have any at the desk. ”

“The room was pretty dirty and gross. The floors were filthy, we dropped some water and cleaned it up with a napkin and there was so much dirt on those floors. The shower had mildew on everything from the shower head to the handle. The tub drain was missing the stopper, the sink drain had no stopper, the toilet seat was chipped, the room always felt wet and the AC took hours to cool the room down at night. The towels were stained. The yogurt at breakfast was expired and the cheerios were stale....
